What would be the most likely penalty for DUI causing bodily injury crime?
Three of my friends were driving in County Sonoma. The driver was very intoxicated. The vehicle lost control and struck a tree, a passenger was ejected, and then rolled several times down an embankment. The other passengers were completely crushed under the dashboard. The first passenger needs complete reconstructive surgery of the face and jaw closed wire. The second passenger has a shattered pelvis and received two surgeries. Not expected to walk for six months. The intoxicated driver walked away with stitches head and broken nose. What kind of time do you think the driver is looking?
