What is the explicit formula for the area of Koch’s Snowflake (and please explain how to derive it).?

Use a side length of 1. The recursive formula (FYI) is A = A(n-1)+ Nn-1(1/9)^n where N is the number of sides and A(n-1) menas the area of the previous iteration.
